AHN Saint Vincent and the Children’s Miracle Network are teaming up to present the 36th annual Festival of Trees, which is set to begin Friday.
While the event will look much different than in year’s past due to the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers say they are excited for the safe and magical community event.
According to event organizers, the 2020 Festival of Trees will be held both virtually and as a drive-through experience.
Rather than seeing the trees in person, people will be able to vote for their favorites online. Attendees will also be able to bid on their favorite Christmas tree to have it delivered to your home.
In addition, a new drive-through light experience will be part of this year’s festival. This part of the event will take place in the Fairview Business Park, located at 7401 Klier Drive in Fairview.
The two mile long drive-through experience will include beautiful light displays, visits to rooms in Santa’s Castle, live reindeer and fun, safe holiday takeaways. The drive-through exhibit will be accompanied by the joyous sounds of Christmas music.
The event will take place from Friday, Nov. 27 through Sunday, Nov. 29 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. nightly.
Admission to the drive-through light experience is $20 per vehicle of up to ten people.
The traditional Gallery of Trees will be a free, online experience. A gallery of beautiful trees decorated by local decorators will be available for public viewing. Attendees can vote for their favorite tree between Nov. 27 and Nov. 29. The winner will be announced on Nov. 30.
Proceeds from the event will support the establishment of a Healthy Food Center at AHN Saint Vincent.
