The sixth annual Rockland-Bergen Music Festival will be rocking the New York-New Jersey border for five days in June.
From June 19- 23, there will be music events in Tappan, Piermont and West Nyack. On Wednesday, the First Rockland County Music Awards will be held at Levity Live in West Nyack. The event is set to honor Rockland musicians of past, present and future. From Thursday to Friday, various musical acts including the Foxfires, School of Rock Orangeburg and McMule will perform at the Turning Point in Piermont and ’76 House in Tappan respectively.
Saturday and Sunday find the festival outdoors at German Masonic Park in Tappan. This year’s performers include Grammy nominee John Prine, Steve Earle, Willie Nile, Donna the Buffalo and many more.
The festival benefits 16 local and national charities including WhyHunger, Habitat for Humanity, Hi-Tor, and Sunrise Day Camp.
