The Cadillac Freedom Festival welcomed visitors to downtown starting Friday.
This is the 9th year for the Freedom Festival.
It features a carnival along with craft and food vendors.
There’s also a 5-K run, fishing contest and live music.
The Freedom Festival runs until Sunday and concludes with fireworks over Lake Cadillac.
The festival also has an event this year to help raise money for the fireworks.
“There’s just so much for people to do ranging from kids’ stuff through adult stuff. Saturday we have a red, white and brew which is a craft beer and wine tasting event, which is also a way for us to raise money for the fireworks,” said Festival President Derek Anderson.
