Beer and gin connoisseurs headed to the Riverside Stadium this weekend to enjoy a taste of a brand new event.
Held in a heated marquee next to the Fanzone, the inaugural Beer and Gin Festival offered some of the best local brews going as well as a huge selection from around the world.
Ales and ciders were on tap at the Boro ground plus an extensive selection of fine wines, gins and craft spirits while the live music and quizzes helped keep drinkers entertained.
Two events were due to be held on Saturday – the night session has sold out.
But tickets will be available on the door for the Sunday session, on from 10.30am through to 7pm.
They are £4 each and there is space for over 200 guests.
