Hard cider, hard seltzer, and even the promise of marijuana-infused products are under consideration.
For those wondering if White Claw and the hard seltzer revolution would just be a summer fad, let this be your answer.
“ALL FiZZED UP,” a hard seltzer festival featuring dozens of hard seltzers by more than 20 companies from around the globe, is coming Dec. 27 to Royal Oak Music Theatre, 318 W. 4th St.
It’s the first festival of its kind to come to the Midwest, coming on the heels of a boom in spiked sparkling water sales, led by White Claw, which saw a reported 200% increase in sales over a four-week span in July.
“In addition to sipping your favorite hard seltzers and discovering new go-tos, ALL FiZZED UP will offer awesome live entertainment, DJ John Arnold, and the area’s best food trucks and local vendors,” the ticket website says.
“Hand-crafted cocktails and assorted wines will also be available.”
The event runs from 8-11 p.m., with a VIP hour from 7-8 p.m. Early-bird tickets are available for $40 per person and $60 for VIP; prices go up $10 after the early-bird period.
Admission comes with 3-oz. drink sample tickets (10 tickets for general admission, 15 for VIP), a commemorative pint glass and keepsake photo. Additional sample tickets, food and merchandise will be available for purchase at the event.
See the ticketing website for more information.
