ANSONIA — Police are advising residents that Main Street will be closed Saturday for the city’s annual Harvest Festival.
The street will be closed from Tremont Street to Maple Street from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In addition, Bridge Street and Kingston Drive from East Main Street to West Main Street will also be closed to traffic.
“Traffic traveling northbound on Main Street (Rt. 115) will detour right onto Tremont Street, left onto West Main Street to return to Rt. 115,” police said in a press release. “Traffic traveling southbound on Main Street (Rt. 115) will detour right onto Maple Street, left onto Olson Drive, left onto Bridge Street and right onto West Main Street to return to Rt. 115.”
Police asked residents to drive carefully and be mindful that there may be delays in the area.
