Over Farm based music festival Barn on the Farm has revealed its Music of Tomorrow 2021, a list of new and emerging artists, all billed on the line up for the forthcoming 11th edition.
These are the artists the festival will be championing all year round under the banner of Music of Tomorrow.
After a postponed festival in 2020, the 11th edition is now set to take place over 1-4 July 2021 and all headliners and many more are still to be announced.
Barn said the festival has always been about introducing emerging artists, something much appreciated by its enthusiastic music-loving community, eager to experience new music. It added that it is renowned for the loyalty of many artists who return as headliners even when they have become chart-topping international stars; artists such as Ed Sheeran, Hozier, George Ezra, Maggie Rogers, Lewis Capaldi, The Vaccines and many more.
Next year’s Music of Tomorrow line-up includes Aaron Smith, Alfie Templeman, April, Baby Queen, Bow Anderson, Finn Askew, Gracey, Griff, Holly Humberstone, JC Stewart, Kennyhoopla, Lola Young-Luz, Olivia Dean, Thomas Headon and 220 Kid.
Organiser Josh Sanger said: “In 2021 we will all be beyond hungry for new & live music so it seems like the perfect time to turn tables on the usual headline announcement and introduce these upcoming artists first. We are hell bent on 2021 being a monster line-up and it starts here!
“Because Barn has a crowd which is more like a music obsessed extended family than your typical festival audience, Music of Tomorrow is a great way of connecting everyone very early doors to a whole range of new artists we love and hope our audience will love too.
“Often these artists don’t get the attention they deserve in the rush for headliners, so we feel the time is right to return to the original ethos of Barn with renewed energy and create a connection from the get-go.”
Barn on the Farm will also be changing and making improvements to its layout for 2021, which it said will improve accessibility over the whole site and better the festival experience for attendees.
