There are still four Senate races where we don’t yet have a confirmed winner.

In Alaska, the Senate race between incumbent Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan and his Democratic challenger Al Gross has not been called. As of this writing, Sullivan leads Gross 118,978 to 61,362 with between 53 and 61% reporting, according to Decision Desk HQ.

In North Carolina, the race between incumbent Republican Sen. Thom Tillis and his Democratic challenger Cal Cunningham has still not been called. Tillis leads 2,641,979 to 2,546,241 with 99.9% reporting. The only ballots left to count are the remaining ABM ballots still trickling in, as well as about 40,000 provisional ballots. The state has until Thursday to receive all remaining ballots and is expected to reveal updated vote totals by the end of the week.

Beyond that are the two Georgia Senate runoff races that will take place on Jan. 5th. Incumbent Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler will face off against Democrat Rev. Raphael Warnock in one race, while incumbent Republican Sen. David Perdue will take on Democrat Jon Ossoff in the other one.

The stakes are high. Assuming Tillis and Sullivan hold on to their leads and win their races, that would give Republicans a 50-48 lead in the race for control of the Senate. But should Warnock and Ossoff win their respective runoffs, it would mean a tie in the Senate, which would make Kamala Harris (assuming the Biden-Harris ticket wins) the “tiebreaker” in instances where the Senate votes 50-50 on something.

Sensing momentum was on the left’s side, Sen. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer took to the streets in his home state of New York Saturday during a Biden-Harris “victory” rally to proclaim total domination was within reach. “Now we take Georgia, then we change the world,” he declared. In the very next sentence, which he uttered after putting his mask on, Schumer warned promised, “Now we take Georgia, then we change America.”

Watch:

Schumer’s comments were an accidental gift to Senate Republicans in the runoff races, as Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume and others pointed out:

“Pouncing” on Schumer’s remarks is exactly what Republicans did (as they should have):

In addition to Schumer, other high-profile Democrats also gifted the Georgia GOP and the NRSC over the weekend, including Tommy “Obama Bro” Vietor, who was a former NSC spokesman for then-President Barack Obama. Here’s what Vietor had to say about the intelligence of Georgia voters just days after they may have flipped the state blue in a presidential race (pending the outcome of the recount):

Vietor’s predictable cheap shot did not go unnoticed:

How’s that for fostering “unity” and healing, Georgians? Vote accordingly in January, which will give guys like Schumer and Vietor and all the rest of the Democrats who view you as ignorant rubes nightmares for months and years to come.
