8 de febrero de 2020, 1:30Mexico, Feb 8 (Prensa Latina) Cuba as a country and Coahuila as a state are the special guests to the 48th Cervantino International Festival to be held in Guanajuato, Mexico, from October 14 to November 1, it was reported at a press briefing.
Mexican Culture Secretary Alejandra Frausto informed this statement at the press hall of the Palace of Fine Arts. She said she is happy to announce that Cuba and Coahuila had gladly accepted to participate in the festival. The announcement was made in the presence of Cuban Deputy Culture Minister Fernando Rojas, poet Waldo Leyva, and cultural advisor and Ambassador Pedro Nuñez Mosquera.
Alejandra Frausto, accompanied by Mariana Aymerich, director of the Cervantino Festival, and the governors of Coahuila and Guanajuato, stated that this year’s event, known as the feast of the spirit, will be based in the guest state, which will show its traditions and culture.
With Cuba as a guest of honor, and Coahuila, the International Cervantino Festival is already making known something that we could enjoy in its 2020 edition, she said.
