PARKERSBURG, W.Va (WTAP)- Thousands came out to experience and celebrate diversity at Parkersburg City Park.
From food, to crafts, to entertainment, a variety of cultures are showcased over the weekend long celebration. Organizers want the festival to highlight diversity and different cultures in a creative and engaging way.
“This event is about respect for people who are not the same as you,”
says Beatrice Corra, Co-President and founder of the Mid-Ohio Valley Multicultural Festival.
The festival continues into Sunday evening.
