Fall Home Festival returns to Young Ranch

Young Ranch, a master-planned community in Katy at Interstate 10 and Pederson Road, will host its second annual Fall Home Festival on Saturday, Oct. 19.

The event will be open from noon-4 p.m. throughout the Katy community and is a joint effort by all of the current homebuilders, including Lennar and Village, M/I Homes and Beazer Homes. The event is designed to attract visitors and prospective homebuyers to tour the 10 fully furnished model homes and explore the community’s amenity package, which features a new, multi-faceted recreation center.

The line-up of fall-themed activities includes kids’ crafts, a petting zoo, an assortment of food, face painting, craft beer by a local brewery, and an enter-to-win opportunity for a $200 Amazon gift card. Activities will take place both inside some of the model homes and within each of the four model home parks, which include 55-, 60-, 70- and 80-foot homesites, ranging from the $200,000s to $600,000s.

The recreation center is one of the main focal points of the community. It includes an outdoor kitchen, meeting space and fitness area. Other community amenities include the lakes, trail system, splash pad, playground and a lap pool.

The community is served by the Lamar Consolidated and Katy Independent school districts.
