A Quincy holiday tradition is officially back Thursday night.

The Festival of Lights, previously known as Avenue of Lights, is back with new organizers and new displays.

Organizers said they’ve had hundreds of cars drive through on its first night.

It’s the first time in four years a festival of lights has been set up at Wavering/Moorman park in Quincy.

Festival of Lights President Eric Dooley said while set up has only gone on the last few weeks, they’ve been planning this for much longer.

Residents who remember when it was here four years ago say they’re happy its back.

“I have my twin boys with me that are nine years old and we used to bring them here when they were really tiny. They loved it and have lots of good memories so they’re super excited that this is back this year to be able to do this again,” said Heather Humphrey.

The festival of lights will be open every night of the week from 5 to 9 p.m. except for Saturdays and Sundays when it will be open until 10 p.m.

Admission is $12.
