Get ready for a day filled with frills, food, fun and dancing. The Goulburn Multicultural Festival is on again this weekend. READ ALSO:Rain brings rejoicing, lifts restrictions and prompts SES call-outs The annual celebration of music, dance, markets and street food fosters a blending of cultures for everyone to enjoy. From belly dancers and Zumba to gelato and gozleme the festival is sure to have something for everyone. Start your day off with the energetic African beats of Afro Zumba at 10am or finish with an afternoon session at 3:30pm. Hear the roar of the lion during traditional Chinese dancing and help celebrate the year of the rat. CHECK OUT: Federal drought funding misses Goulburn Mulwaree More than 25 groups will take to the stage including Bollywood dancers, Greek Hellenic dancers, performances from the Leider Theatre and much more. The festival is the perfect family fun day out. Relax in the shade at Belmore Park and soak up the atmosphere. Street food on offer includes: Italian wood-fired pizzas, Indian samosas, Mexican burritos, Greek churros, Russian cuisine, Turkish kebabs/gozleme, Filipino sweets and Italian gelato. The Goulburn Multicultural Centre partners with the Goulburn Mulwaree Council and volunteers to organise the event.
