Presidential children are supposed to be off-limits from attack, at least those under 18 years old.
But for some reason, some on the left seem to think Barron Trump, 13, isn’t deserving of the courtesy of not being used in their attacks on his father.
They were at it again today, after President Donald Trump went to the fifth game of the World Series between the Nationals and the Astros yesterday.
Folks on the left noticed that while Trump was accompanied by Melania, five wounded veterans and several Republican politicians, Barron apparently wasn’t part of the outing.
According to the Daily Caller, Democratic politician Rob Anderson attacked Trump for not taking Barron to the game.
“A Father not taking his son to a baseball game, let alone a World Series game, is perhaps the worst indictment of a ‘family man’ I’ve ever heard,” he carped. “I have a feeling Trump could have gotten Barron a ticket, if he got tickets for Scalise and Gaetz.”

Anderson’s tweet got 44,000 likes.
But he was soon followed by other people on the left who seized on the ability to attack Trump.
Imagine being a kid and your dad takes Lindsey Graham to the World Series instead of you.

Everybody calm down about Trump not taking Barron to the World Series. Barron was busy writing the proposal for his tell-all memoir, Son of Treason, which just sold at auction for $2.8 million. Out in July from Simon & Schuster.

Wow, #Barron eerily looks like @MattGaetz. https://t.co/Vekp4qByYf

Back off, haters! Yes, Trump was booed at the World Series but only because Crooked Hillary filled the stadium with the 3 million paid illegal immigrants that registered & voted against him 2016.
And the poor guy just realized that Matt Gaetz isn’t Barron.

Boooooooo!!! Do you even know you have a son named Barron? Booooo!!!

If you were Barron would you want to go to a baseball game with Old Man Trump? @realDonaldTrump

Barron Trump should not feel bad. What dad takes his 13 year old son to a World Series baseball game when he gets free tickets?
Of course Barron understands that daddy took adopted son Lindsey Graham instead. That makes sense#LockHimUp

Wow. How incredibly obnoxious are these people? How well this pegs them as Democrat partisans, thinking they have the right to tell people how to live their lives or conduct their own family actions.
As Daily Wire notes, writer and comedian Bridget Phetasy sums it up well:
Maybe Trump didn’t take Barron to the game because it’s not good for him. Maybe Barron doesn’t like crowds. Maybe Trump knows people will be booing him and doesn’t want to expose his kid to that. Maybe he’s protecting him. Going after Trump because Barron wasn’t there is gross.

Exactly. Why is it the business of any of these people why Barron wasn’t there? And their use of Barron is disgusting.
Journalist Yashar Ali called Rob Anderson out on it.
For a while we haven’t seen Barron Trump mentioned (which is a good thing) but I’ve seen an uptick recently…including this tweet.
He’s 13-years-old and didn’t choose this life. You have no idea why he wasn’t there, Rob.
Leave him alone. https://t.co/hqJhC4H0v7

Rita Panahi points out a likely reason Trump might choose to leave him home – not to expose him to ugly people.
Trump knows he’ll get booed in Washington DC (where he got 4% of the vote), why would he take Barron? They are finding ever dumber things to bag him about. #TDS https://t.co/Z18yNYxJvl

Barron has been attacked by folks on the left in the past. Peter Fonda tweeted Barron should be ripped from his mother’s arms and placed in a cage with pedophiles. Kathy Griffin told Vulture in a December 2016 interview that she would distinguish herself from other comedians who were going after Trump by also going “direct for Barron.” “So I’m happy to deliver beat down to Donald Trump — and also to Barron,” she said. Tom Arnold said he was going to protest at Barron’s school, “We’re going to make you uncomfortable.” Both Fonda and Griffin later apologized for some of their remarks.
