It’s always a joy to welcome a new baby into the world. What could be better? TWINS, of course! Double the trouble, double the fun! Marilia Nunez from Brooklyn, New York, USA submitted this Bakery Baby Shower for Twins that she styled for some very proud soon-to-be parents!
Some of the elements that really stand out to me from this baby shower include the following:
- The bright and cheery color palette
- Detailed and beautiful baby shower cake
- A darling array of sweets
- Unique and super cute party tagline
- Last, but certainly not least, the kitchen party backdrop anchor!
Bakery Baby Shower for Twins
The sweets are displayed on an array of pedestals of varying heights that add visual interest to the party.
A cake table doesn’t have to be complicated to make a statement. This bakery baby shower for twins 4-tier cake is the focal point of the table. However, even though the cake is the main star, the red and white gingham tablecloth, rolling pin, and recipe card pull it all together.
Look at the details in this set-up! From the welcome mat to the cute little cupcakes and the ampersand inside the oven, every detail is darling!
Yum! The sweets on display look as good as they taste! Who can resist the baby jumper cookies?? I love the whisk and scraper kitchen tool accents too!
To add a little “grown-up” touch to the baby shower decorations, this beautiful
Here’s what Marilla said about the party:
My Party Pixies have the pleasure of styling this fun baby shower for twin boys! The mommy, a New York middle-school guidance counselor and daddy a NYC fireman, were so much fun to work with. They gave us free-reign to get creative and come up with something different.
Twin Baby Shower Themes
It was a bit of a challenge finding themes that were appropriate for twins that weren’t already all over the internet. As I googled some themes, I came across the “Bun in the Oven” theme online and found some cute inspirations and knew right away that it would be perfect for them! But, somehow I needed to twist the theme and make it appropriate for twins, and so, I whipped up “Double the Fun, There’s More Than One Bun in the Oven!” Pun intended, hehe.
Baby Shower Decorations
I had my go-to prop pro-Joseph (Joe) from JM Valentino Designs build the kitchen. All my cakes and custom sweets by Iva and her team at Sweet Touch by Iva and my cookies the cookies by Sabrina of Sabysweets. My flowers, from NYC Flower Project who always nail my vision. All custom print was designed by us at My Party Pixies and printed by Twinsprint.
This was such a fun event to put together. I had a blast planning and executing this job and best of all my clients and their guests loved all of it!
