Sweet Blue Christening Party

Inspiration:
“This sweet blue christening celebration was held in Ioannina, Greece. The theme was derived from little Vasilis’ favorite habit: playing with balls and balloons. We also incorporated the birthday boy’s own figure into the design.
Stationery & Decor:
We started this beautiful project by creating the custom stationery suite for the invitation. We used a color palette with all hues of blue and used the watercolor method. Little Vasilis’ figure was designed from a photo we were given by his mum.
First, we created a candy display table using acrylic surfaces and a variety of amazing sweets. Then, we decorated everything with blue hydrangeas. Finally, through the transparency of the acrylic, we created a party backdrop with a round shaped wall full of balloons. The effect was reminiscent of a little kid holding hundreds of balloons in his hand.
Desserts & Favors:
At the food table, guests were treated custom made biscuits, cake pops and cupcakes all accented with fancy details. Then, for party favors, we gave reed diffusers to the older guests while the children took home personalised chalkboards painted with blue balloons. In the end, the guests enjoyed the balloon decorations, the tailor-made cake, the sweets and their gifts.”
