SUPERIOR, WI– The annual Lake Superior Ice Festival begins Friday afternoon and continues through Saturday at Barker’s Island in Superior.
There will be sledding, a police versus fire department ice hockey game, and plenty of ice carving demonstrations.
This year, each of the 18 carvings around town will have a trivia question attached. Each correct answer will enter you into a drawing for a chance to win a prize.

Answers will be accepted through midnight Friday, February 14. The winner will be revealed on Monday, February 17.
Admission to the festival is free.
The festival kicks off Friday night, with most activities on Saturday with a fireworks show Saturday evening.
