The lineup for a brand new festival coming to Leyland has finally been revealed.
The Music in the Park festival is coming to Worden Park this summer, with former Spandau Ballet frontman Tony Hadley set to headline the festival. He is set to perform a number of hits including True, Gold, and Through the Barricades.
Joining him is pop group T’Pau, DJ Pat Sharp, and glam rock band Doctor and the Medics.
Martin Carlin, Chair of Leyland Town Team said: “We are very excited that this live music event is coming to Leyland.
“Worden Park is a great setting, and we’re looking forward to a fantastic 80s evening.”
Music in the Park will take place on Friday, June 19 in Worden Park.
Tickets go on sale from today (February 1) via Skiddle, priced at £25 for general admission and £35 for premium tickets.
South Ribble Borough Council has told festival goers to ‘get your leg warmers and shoulder pads ready and make sure you’re free to enjoy an 80s extravaganza in Worden Park this summer.’
