Lightopia Festival is holding a huge Black Friday sale this week, slashing ticket prices by up to 40% for one day only.
The colourful lantern festival has taken over Manchester’s Heaton Park with 2,000 individual lanterns and more than a million light bulbs.
As well as huge installations – including a safari section, a giant peacock and a tunnel of light – there are also dancing lasers and a water show over the boating lake in the park.
Manchester is the first city to host Lightopia, which will stay in the city until December 31.
Tickets for Lightopia normally cost £18 for an adult and £11 for a child, but for one hour only there will be a Black Friday discount of 40%.
Shoppers will need to be quick, as the code BLACKFRIDAY40 will only be valid between 12pm and 1pm on Friday November 29 through Eventbrite.

The sale will see adult tickets reduced to as little as £10.80, child tickets to £6.60 and family tickets (normally £54) to £32.40.
Children under three go free.
The festival is open at Heaton Park from 5pm to 10pm every night until December 31 (excluding Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).
Tickets are available now through Eventbrite .
