The once popular Mossman Street Festival made a welcome return on Friday night after an absence of 13 years and was heralded a success.
And Douglas Shire Mayor Michael Kerr said: “I think people would be disappointed if it wasn’t on the calendar for next year.
“It was an absolutely fantastic night, and it was so good to see families out enjoying the festivities.”
The Douglas Chamber of Commerce played a leading role along with the Douglas Shire Council and local traders to make this happen.
