AN arts festival has launched an online programme of events in a bid to brighten up lockdown life next month.
Organisers said the Out to Lunch Arts Festival can be enjoyed from the comfort of your home over four weeks of live-streamed events.
Comedians Kevin McAleer and Richard Herring and writer Will Self are among leading names taking part.
Director Sean Kelly said: “From online lectures and webinars to livestreamed music, comedy and literature from our headquarters in the Black Box, we’re striving to keeps arts absolutely live at a time when our artists have never had it tougher.
“We’ll still be delivering amazing events and performers, and we still welcome you to join us as we get through the darkest month of the year together.
“And I’d like to say that after last year, there is light at the end of the tunnel.”
