The 14-year-old indie music festival is See Tickets’ third major signing in 2020, following Planet Bluegrass and the North American International Auto Show.
The Pitchfork Music Festival has selected See Tickets to handle online and onsite ticketing for the annual Chicago summer music event.
The 14-year-old indie music festival is the third major signing for See Tickets in 2020. In January, the company signed Planet Bluegrass, which stages the annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival (scheduled for June 18-21 ), Rockygrass Festival (July 24-26) and Rocky Mountain Folks Festival (Aug 7-9) each summer in Colorado. See Tickets also signed the North American International Auto Show, Detroit’s biggest auto show with 500,000 visitors annually, in January.
Signing Pitchfork Music Festival — internationally recognized for booking a wide array of diverse, cutting-edge and influential acts — is a major win for See Tickets’ music business, adding the July 17-19 event at Chicago’s Union Park to its growing festival roster.
“We are music people,” explained Boris Patronoff, See Tickets North America CEO. “Our team of festival professionals are passionate about delivering excellence for music fans. We’re excited to be a part of one of the best festivals in the country.”
The 2020 Pitchfork lineup has not yet been announced but tickets are currently for sale at pitchforkmusicfestival.com.
