The Boozy Bar Festival, which was meant to be hosted at Plymouth Pavilions tomorrow, has been cancelled at the last minute.
The cocktail and alcohol festival, which would have featured up to 10 unique themed bars selling over 250 different drinks, as well as street food stands and entertainment and music, has been cancelled by promoters, according to Plymouth Pavilions.
Plymouth Live contacted Plymouth Pavilions, but staff said they did not have any further information from promoters at this time.
Charnwood Entertainments, which was behind the festival, said it would issue a statement later this evening.
Tickets for the event went on sale several months ago and were priced at £33.54 for a standard ticket, and £55.94 for a VIP ticket.
Plymouth Pavilions say all tickets will be refunded. Tickets were still available to buy online at 7pm on Friday despite the cancellation.
On a post on social media, Plymouth Pavilions said: “ATTENTION – CANCELLED !!!!! We’ve received confirmation from the promoter that Boozy Bar Festival (due to take place tomorrow) has been cancelled.
“All tickets will automatically be refunded to the original card that the tickets were purchased from. If you believe your card details may have changed within this time, please contact The Ticket Store on 0333 772 7727.
“We are very sorry for the inconvenience.”
