Updated:MANSFIELD, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Parke County Covered Bridge Festival begins this week.
People were setting up in Mansfield on Wednesday. It’s just one of the many communities in Parke County that takes part in the celebration.
Attendees will be able to learn about the 31 historic bridges throughout the county, as well as find arts, crafts, food vendors and more.
The Global Swap Shop is one of the many vendors you’ll find. The home accessories business came up from Tennessee and always looks forward to the festival.
“The feel is just what you’d expect. It’s a great festival. People are having fun. They’re talking about what they want to do. They’re talking about who they want to buy presents for for the holidays. It’s just a great time, out enjoying the walk and the weather, and I think fun is had by all,” says Preston Mulvene.
The festival starts on Friday and continues for ten days. You can learn more about it here.
