Fletcher Wong, 19, from Wellington, has gone missing from the Rhythm and Vines music festival in Gisborne.
The search for a teenager missing from the Rhythm and Vines music festival has entered its third day.
Fletcher Wong, 19, was last seen walking out of the admissions area at the venue in Gisborne about 2am on Tuesday.
Police have confirmed that Wong is from Wellington. They have fears for his safety.
On Thursday afternoon, about 40 people, including police officers, search and rescue volunteers and Wong’s friends and whanau were involved in the search, which included nearby Gray’s Bush.
Wong was wearing a black hoodie and shorts when he disappeared, police said.
Rhythm and Vines said in a statement on its website that it was working closely with authorities and would act on the advice of police.
The statement described Wong as wearing a black ”Champion” brand hooded sweatshirt, grey track pants and white Nike Air-force 1 sneakers.
Wong had his black iPhone 10 cellphone on him at the time of disappearance, the statement said.
