BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — The Cornell Cooperative Extension hosted a Shakespeare themed festival to allow visitors to tour their garden.
Renaissance themed games, performances, and traditional music brought Shakespeare’s works to life. Organizers say they hope activities and the garden will show the community that the renaissance era can be exciting.
“You have to see things about the renaissance era to really see that it’s fun. People think it’s so stuffy, but it doesn’t have to be. We want to make this accessible and fun,” said Eve Berman, the event coordinator.
Any donations received go toward the Cutler Botanic garden located at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County.
