The annual Ubud Food Festival (UFF) is set to return for its sixth year on April 17 to 19.
Featuring cooking demos, food tours, master classes and more, the “Heroes”-themed festival is said to take place in more than 30 venues across Ubud, Bali.
“One of the most significant aspects about the food on our table is the people behind it. When we’re eating, we tend to forget that there’s a story behind every food item, every meal, every cuisine,” said UFF founder and director Janet DeNeefe in a statement. “We want to highlight the people behind the process and the significant role they play in creating the exemplary flavors that we have today.”
Among the highlighted lineup who will represent the theme are Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Awards 2020’s Chef of the Year, Paul Carmichael; 2019 James Beard Foundation Book Award winner Matt Abergel; Chris Salans; Khanh Nguyen; Germany’s youngest female Michelin-starred chef Julia Komp; Bangka-born Eddrian Tjhia; MasterChef Indonesia judge Renatta Moeloek; and Wayan Sukarta.
