Universal Studios Hollywood is hosting the first-ever Bravo’s Top Chef Food & Wine Festival featuring a roster of “Top Chef” alumni that will be participating in the event which will take place March 19-20.
Guests will be able to sample dishes, experience live Quickfire Challenges and attend panels with the some of the fan-favorite chefs from the show. “Top Chef” runner-up Shirley Chung has been collaborating with Universal Studios Hollywood’s chefs on a specially-curated menu inspired by the award-winning series.
An all-star line-up of contestants from the forthcoming 17th season of “Top Chef” will be participating in the festival including Eric Adjepong, Jennifer Carroll, Stephanie Cmar, Lisa Fernandes, Kevin Gillespie, Jamie Lynch, Brian Malarkey and Joe Sasto. More will be announced at a later date. The new season of “Top Chef,” which coincides with the live event, will air on Thursday, March 19.
The special menu will include cuisine from around the world and offer things like Roasted Red Spanner with Green Tomato Salsa Verde, Lechon with Papaya Pico di Gallo, Drunken Doughnuts with champagne raspberry jam and Yuzu Aguachile with Dragonfruit, Avocado and Liquid Nitrogen Chocolate Moose. Vegan and vegetarian dishes will be available. A selection of wines, craft beer and specialty cocktails will also be curated for the festival.
General admission tickets are $179 and includes dozens of tastings, access to the Quickfire Challenges and panel interviews, themed photo ops and merchandise and a commemorative credential and keepsake gift. For just $20 more, $199, guests can attend both the Bravo event and get admission to Universal Studios Hollywood after 12 p.m.
VIP packages are $299 and includes everything in the general admission plus general admission to the theme park after 12 p.m., a VIP culinary tasting and wine pairing, exclusive meet and greet with the host chef, complimentary parking and a VIP wine experience hosted by a premium winegrower.
