Are you familiar with NewsRadio star Andy Dick (great show, by the way)?
He’s made headlines in the past, perhaps least of all for acting.
In 2007, he was jokingly dragged of the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live! for touching future First Daughter Ivanka Trump’s leg:
In 2018, the comedian was charged with misdemeanor sexual battery and misdemeanor simple battery after allegedly squeezing a stranger’s butt twice and making lewd comments as she walked by him on the street in Los Angeles.
And as reported by People:
Sources told The Hollywood Reporter in an Oct. 2017 article that the actor groped, kissed and licked people’s cheeks, as well as made sexual proposals, involving at least four people on the production of the independent feature Raising Buchanan.
THR also revealed that Dick had also been fired from the low-budget comedy Vampire Dad after similar accusations.
He defended himself to THR thusly:
“I didn’t grope anybody. I might have kissed somebody on the cheek to say goodbye and then licked them. That’s my thing. I licked Carrie Fisher at a roast. It’s me being funny. I’m not trying to sexually harass people. I didn’t grab anybody’s genitals. … Of course I’m going to proposition people. I’m single, depressed, lonely and trying to get a date. They can just say no, and they probably did and then I was done.”
Well, it remains a mystery whether he groped, harassed, or licked anyone in the French Quarter, but a new video from outside a New Orleans club shows what purportedly is the entertainer getting knocked out hard.
…While standing on a sidewalk.
Good grief that was a fierce sucker punch.
Saturday’s surveillance footage was obtained by a local news outlet Tuesday, and it features what appears to be Andy minding his own business outside One Eyed Jacks when a guy in a black T-shirt walks up and BAM:

His booking agent, Robert Couvillion, told WDSU he was “cold-cocked,” hit the pavement, and was out for 15 minutes.
He was hospitalized for several days before flying home to the West Coast Monday.
Guitarist Paris Dylan witnessed the attack:
“What’s shocking to me is how clear it is that the assailant wasn’t provoked in any way,” Dylan told Nola Tuesday. “That he attacked with the intent to severely injure or even kill, out of nowhere. It was a very frightening scene. “I rolled him over on his side and continued to try to keep him awake before paramedics arrived.”
“We thought he was dead. Then, when he did get up, he thought he was in L.A. He was unresponsive, his eyes were swimming in his head and it was really bad.”
A criminal complaint has been filed with the New Orleans Police Department.
